Sometimes after changing your GatorLink password, you may see Windows Security popup windows asking for your user name and password, as shown in the image below.
If this is happening multiple times on your Windows computer, you may need to clear the Windows Credential Vault of old GatorLink passwords (credentials).
To clear the old credentials, click on the Windows "Start" button (#1 in the image below) and then the "Control Panel' button (#2). If you are using Windows 10, right click on the "Start" button and then select "Control Panel" from the menu.
You will see the screen as shown below, click on the "Credential Manager" link (outlined in red).
Under "Generic Credentials" look for any older credentials by clicking on the down arrow (#1). Once it is expanded, click on the "Remove from vault" link (#2). See the image below. If you are using Windows 10 be sure you are on the "Windows Credentials" and not the "Web Credentials" option.
That's it! You may need to enter your user name and password one more time, but then you shouldn't see the popup until the next time you change your GatorLink password.
