New feature available in the latest mojoPortal upgrade.
The newest mojoPortal upgrade replaces the tinymce editor with the ckeditor. This change offers a new feature that will allow users to make simple text edits directly in a page without having to go through the editor. The images below show the changes you will encounter when you now log into mojoPortal.
The first major change is to the editor interface itself. All of the usual functions are still available (uploading images, creating links, etc.) in the new ckeditor but the overall appearance has changed as shown in the image below.
The second major change is the ability to do inline editing. If you need to make simple text changes such as adding or removing text, or making text bold or italics, etc. you can now make those changes directly on the page. When you hover your cursor over the blue, lock-shaped icon located next to the "Edit" link, you will see a little “Toggle Inline Editing” tool tip. See the image below.
Clicking on the blue lock icon will enable the inline editing box (outlined in red below).
You can now make simple text edits (add/remove text, etc.) directly on the page. (We do not recommend using the inline editing feature when editing text that is contained within accordions or tabs.) To exit the inline editing mode (and save your changes), just click outside the text area and the editing box will disappear. Be sure to toggle the blue lock icon back to the lock position once you are done making your changes.
If you need to make more extensive changes (add an image or table) you can click on the "Edit" link next to your content module heading like you normally would.
We hope this new inline editing feature will be a helpful addition to the editing capabilities offered by mojoPortal.
